IUPD says sexual assault reporting policy has not changed; crime logs show otherwise

In response to an IU NewsNet/Arnolt Center investigation that found that the IU Police Department is no longer publicly reporting the location of sexual assaults, IUPD Chief Jill Lees said this has been a longstanding practice. But Mary Claire Malloy’s search of the 2020 police log tells a different story.
