Center, NewsNet continue Red Zone investigation

BLOOMINGTON – The Arnolt Center for Investigative Journalism and IU NewsNet continue reporting on sexual assaults on campus at Indiana University for the second year of the Red Zone investigation.

Stories this year, have focused on changes to Indiana’s consent law, told the story of a young woman who was raped on campus and a series of sexual assault reports at Briscoe Hall. Reporter Olivia Oliver continues with daily coverage as cases are reported on the center and IU NewsNet’s Instagram accounts.

Overcoming the Pain of Sexual Assault One Painting at a Time

The partnership’s Red Zone coverage won a regional Mark of Excellence award in April to “television in-depth news” and a regional Emmy award from the Great Lakes Central Chapter for top “news reporter – serious news.”
